A totalitarian State has complete control over the lives of its citizens, with oppressive laws and constant surveillance. As the manager of an apartment building, your job is to make the tenants happy and maintain the facade of a peaceful community. However, your true mission is to spy on the tenants and report any suspicious activities to the authorities. Every decision you make will have consequences and shape the outcome of the story.

The game, Beholder, is all about the choices you make and the moral dilemmas that come with them. Will you report a father for illegal activities and potentially orphan his children? Or will you use the information to blackmail him for your own gain? The game features multiple endings, so you never know where your choices will lead you.

The additional story, "Blissful Sleep," introduces new characters and their struggles under the oppressive regime. From a victim seeking salvation to someone who risked their life for the State but was left behind, each character has their own unique story.
