Barclays UK

The Barclays app allows individuals who are 16 years or older and have a UK-registered mobile number and a UK Barclays current account or Barclaycard to register for the app. To register, users will need their 16 digit card number and will be guided through the process with onscreen instructions. Some customers may also need to verify their identity through PINsentry or at a Barclays cash machine.

If users have an activation code, they can follow the onscreen steps to register without needing PINsentry. Once registered, users will only need a 5-digit passcode to log in and can also set up Android Fingerprint for faster access in the future. However, the app does not work on rooted devices.

The app offers various benefits such as quick and secure logins through Android Fingerprint, the ability to manage personal and business accounts, view Barclays mortgage accounts, and manage personal Barclaycard accounts. Users can also view recent transactions, check balances, transfer funds between accounts, make payments to previous recipients, and store important documents securely through Barclays Cloud It. The app also provides features such as finding the nearest branch or cash machine, logging into Online Banking with Mobile PINsentry, and calling customer services directly from the app.

For business accounts, the app can only be used by sole-signatory Barclays Business current account holders and cannot be used for Barclaycard business or corporate credit cards. The app is provided by either Barclays Bank UK PLC or Barclays Bank PLC, depending on the entity that the user has contracted with for banking services. Users must be 16 years or older to use the app and terms and conditions apply.

The app is copyright protected and is a registered trademark of Barclays plc. It is authorized by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority. The app is available for both Barclays Bank UK PLC and Barclays Bank PLC, with different registration numbers and registered offices.
