A kingdom built on music is facing a dark and uncertain future. A monstrous being known as 'The Ancestor' has unleashed a destructive rain, known as the 'Hollow Rain', that causes anyone it touches to 'bloom' into a flurry of white flower petals and disappear. In the midst of this chaos, DEEMO II follows the journey of Echo, a girl who has bloomed but mysteriously reappeared, and Deemo, an enigmatic station Guardian, as they search for a way to save their world.

The game features a mysterious and emotional story that delves into the secrets of the world and the truth behind Echo's resurrection. As players explore Central Station with Echo, they will interact with the various residents and uncover clues and magical pieces of music called 'Charts' that can clear away the Hollow Rain. As Deemo, players will put their musical skills to the test in fun and challenging rhythm sections to progress the story.
