60 Parsecs!

This is 60 Parsecs!, a dark comedy sci-fi adventure game that takes place in the Atomic Space Age. The game is filled with Cold War paranoia, chrome-plated wall accents, and even space-helmet-wearing cockroaches. In this game, you will lead a crew of unprepared astronauts on a misguided journey across the cosmos. Your goal is to find a new home and survive, but it won't be easy.

Before blasting off, you only have 60 seconds to frantically scavenge and evacuate the space station before it is destroyed by nukes. You must grab whatever supplies and crew members you can, even if it means taking junk. Who knows, that sock puppet you grabbed might come in handy later on.

Survival is key in this game, as space funerals are not very convenient. You must use your limited supplies and wits to make difficult decisions and ensure your survival. However, the odds are definitely stacked against you. Will you be able to make it out alive?

In order to survive, you will need to explore and craft. Duct tape may fix all problems, but how do you craft it? You will need to chart expeditions to find resources, craft survival essentials, and explore strange new worlds. Be careful though, as this game has a procedural and permadeath feature, meaning that each playthrough will be different and death is permanent.

As the captain, it is your duty to keep your crew happy. This will not only make your journey more pleasant, but it will also decrease the chances of them turning against you. Manage relationships as you watch them grow closer, but be careful not to let them throw each other out of the airlock. Your leadership skills will be put to the test in this game.
