U.S. Bank Instant Card™

Instant Card is a digital payment experience that combines the features of a U.S. Bank virtual credit card with the convenience of a smart phone. This application allows users to easily create and send virtual cards to employees and contractors for business expenses, eliminating the need for personal credit cards and reimbursement.

The app offers a variety of features, including the ability to send cards in real time, set activation periods and limits, and push the virtual card to Google Pay with just one click. Users can also securely view the full card number and CVV code, and the app is integrated with U.S. Bank Access® Online for reporting purposes. Multiple cards can be sent to a single user, and cards can be deactivated immediately when they are no longer needed.

To use Instant Card, an authorized provisioner for the organization must first receive an email invitation from U.S. Bank with instructions to download the app and register. The provisioner then creates a virtual card by setting the credit limit and expiration date, and entering recipient details. The virtual card is then pushed to the recipient through the app. The recipient will receive an email notification with instructions to download the app and register, and once they do so, the virtual card is active and can be added to Google Pay.

In order to use Instant Card, organizations must be a U.S. Bank customer and either have an authorized provisioner or be sent a mobile card by a provisioner. Interested businesses can contact U.S. Bank to become an Instant Card customer. With Instant Card, businesses can streamline their payment processes and provide a more convenient and secure way for employees and contractors to make business-related purchases.
