MHST The Adventure Begins

This app is a free version of "Monster Hunter Stories" that does not have any in-app purchases. It allows you to import your save data into the paid version of the game to continue your story. However, you cannot import your save data to the Apple Arcade version of the game.

The game is set in a world where people make a living by hunting large monsters. However, there is a remote village where people follow a different custom - they form bonds with monsters instead of hunting them. These monsters, known as "Monsties," have incredible powers.

In the game, you can recruit and hatch Monsties by exploring environments and dungeons and finding monster dens. You can also participate in network battles with other players by building a team of your favorite Monsties. The smartphone version of the game has improved graphics, user interface, and an auto-save feature.

The story begins with the hero, Lilia, and Cheval finding a shining egg in a forest near their village. They perform a playful ritual and are surprised when it actually works, hatching a baby Rathalos (a flying wyvern). They name him "Ratha" and take him back to their village. A year later, the hero receives a Kinship Stone and officially becomes a Rider, embarking on a new adventure with their partner Navirou.

Some important notes about the game include the list of compatible devices, which can be found on the official website. Multiplayer features are only available after a certain amount of game progress and can only be played against other players of the same version. The game also features the same story as the handheld console version, but some features such as collaboration content and amiibo features are not available in this version. Deleting the app will also delete any saved data, so it is recommended to connect to a Wi-Fi network before downloading. Lastly, QR codes from the Japanese version will not work in this version of the game.
