In this game, players take on the role of Ed and must survive in various environments around the world, including the Thailand Jungle, Philippine island, and African Plain. The game presents a challenging scenario where Ed has no tools, clothes, food, water, or even a knife. Despite these harsh conditions, players must guide Ed to overcome the challenges and thrive in the environment.

The game features a large area in each scene, allowing players to set up a camp and make a campfire anywhere. They can also strategically place traps to catch animals for food. When it rains, players can use containers to collect water, and when it's dark, they can use a torch to navigate.

Players can also search for secret tasks within the game. Each scene has two hidden missions that players must find on their own. These tasks may only appear under specific conditions, and upon completion, players will receive special rewards in addition to the main task.

Catching and hunting in the game requires skill, as there are various throwing tools available, such as stones, bamboo forks, and bows and arrows. Different animals, such as rabbits and fish, can be found in different environments, and players must use the appropriate tools to catch them.

As players progress and survive for several days, they may encounter large and dangerous animals, such as wolves, hyenas, and crocodiles. If they have throwing tools, they can defend themselves, but if not, they must run as fast as they can to avoid being attacked.

Food is also a crucial aspect of the game, and players can cook in each scene. However, they must first collect different types of food to do so. As the days go by, players will need to gather more food to improve their health and survive longer in the game.
