This game allows players to experience the origin story of "Hakuoki" as well as an additional scenario, the "Tea ceremony event".

The story is set in the end of the Edo Era, during the 3rd year of the Bunkyu Era. The protagonist, Chizuru Yukimura, is the daughter of a Rangaku scholar and was raised in Edo. After losing contact with her father in Kyoto, Chizuru decides to visit him. During her journey, she witnesses a Shinsengumi soldier killing a bloodthirsty monster. By chance, Chizuru becomes connected to the Shinsengumi and the assassins who are after them. As she spends more time with them, she uncovers a dark secret that the men of the Shinsengumi are hiding.

The "Tea ceremony event" is an additional scenario that can be purchased and enjoyed after completing the main story. In this event, Chizuru is invited to a tea party on behalf of Kondo and is accompanied by the Shinsengumi warriors. However, there may be more to this invitation than meets the eye. Players can spend some sweet time with their favorite character and discover what awaits Chizuru.

The game features a talented cast of voice actors, including Shin-ichiro Miki as Toshizo Hijikata, Showtaro Morikubo as Souji Okita, and Kohsuke Toriumi as Hajime Saito. It is only available in Japanese and requires iOS 10.0 or higher to play.
