More About Death Coming

'Death Coming' is a non-linear puzzle game where you take on the role of the Reaper. Your objective? Cause deaths and harvest souls while abiding by the Free Will Clause.

This application is about a person who has died and becomes an agent of Death, also known as a Reaper. The Reaper has the powers of Death, but there are rules in the supernatural afterlife that they must follow. The main rule is that the Reaper cannot directly control humans due to the Free Will Clause. Instead, they must use the environment to their advantage in order to plan and execute their killings. However, they must also be careful of the Minions of Light, who will try to save humans from their grim fate.

The game is viewed from an isometric ‘God’ perspective, allowing the player to see their hunting grounds from a top-down view. They can follow the lives of their targets and those who are trying to stop them. The game also has a non-linear design, meaning that the player can start with any character and solve puzzles in any order they choose, as long as they stay within the limits of the Death Traps and weather conditions.

In order to be successful, the player must observe their victims and learn their behavior and idiosyncrasies. They must then trigger death traps at the right moment to efficiently kill their targets. The better they know their routines, the better they can prepare their death traps. The victims also have reactive AI, meaning that they will hang around spots they like and change their actions and behavior when something happens to them, such as witnessing someone else's death.

The game also has a morbid sense of humor, with various settings such as suburbia and missile factories where the player can wreak havoc in wacky ways. The game encourages players to laugh at the demise of their victims, as they are doing what they love (harvesting souls) and will never have to work a day in their afterlife.

For more information about the game, players can contact the developer, Mali, through email or visit the website. The game is supported on iPhone 5 and above, and devices running iOS 8.0 or above will have an enhanced experience.
