Escape a limitless castle with an undead twist in this roguevania action platformer. In this game, you play as an undead sludge creature who must battle your way through a constantly changing, pixel art castle full of rogue enemies and terrifying bosses. Your ultimate goal is to escape the castle, and to do so, you must find secrets, take down bosses, and if you die, start from the bottom and reignite the fight.

The game begins with you waking up in an abandoned castle, the result of a botched experiment. You quickly realize that the only way to escape is by taking over someone else's body and using it to fight your way through the castle. As you progress, you will learn the ropes of action-packed 2D combat and platform exploration, mastering a variety of weapons and developing your strengths. Along the way, you will also uncover the secrets of the dungeon and the castle, as well as whatever lies beyond.

One of the unique aspects of this game is that dying is not the end. In fact, it is an integral part of the gameplay. Each time you die, you will start over from the beginning, but with the knowledge and experience gained from your previous attempts, you will be able to improve and progress further. And don't worry about running out of lives, as there is a giant pile of corpses in the dungeon that you can use to resurrect yourself.

The Netflix edition of this game includes all of the free and paid downloadable content created for the original game. This means that members can experience the full scope of their escape from the first awakening. The DLCs included in this edition offer new challenges, such as battling through the secret Arboretum, honing your combat skills, and enlisting the help of iconic Castlevania characters to take on Dracula.
