"Choice of the Dragon" is an exciting interactive novel that puts you in control of the story. Written by Dan Fabulich and Adam Strong-Morse, this game is entirely text-based, with no graphics or sound effects, allowing your imagination to run wild as you make your choices.
In this game, you play as a dragon with an insatiable thirst for gold and infamy. You will battle heroes, wizards, and rival dragons as you start by dominating a local tribe of goblins and then work your way up to usurping a kingdom. As you defend and expand your despotic regime, you can even annex neighboring kingdoms and incinerate peasants in their thatched-roof cottages.
As a mighty dragon, you can spread your wings and cast a shadow over the terrorized nation beneath you. But the power is in your hands, and your choices will determine the outcome of the story.
One of the unique features of this game is the ability to choose your character's gender. You can play as a male, female, neither, or an undetermined gender, giving you the freedom to create the dragon of your dreams.
In addition to battling and conquering, you can also find and seduce another dragon to be your mate. Or, if you prefer, you can kidnap princesses for various purposes, such as good conversation, bait for heroes, or even a light snack. And if you find the idea of always kidnapping princesses a bit sexist, you can switch things up and kidnap a prince instead.
But be careful, as your actions may have consequences. Ransacking holy temples and blaspheming against vengeful gods may bring about their wrath and make your journey as a dragon more challenging. So choose wisely and let your imagination run wild in this thrilling and unpredictable adventure as a dragon in "Choice of the Dragon".
