When your mom becomes seriously ill with an incurable disease, you feel like all hope is lost. However, you remember the legend of the cat realm, a place where wishes can come true. One day, after visiting your mother at the hospital, you follow a calico cat to a nearby shrine. Stepping through the torii gate, you find yourself transported to the realm of cats. Remembering the legend, you seek out the King of Cats, but instead, you encounter a witch who offers to cure your mom in exchange for your human life.

Faced with an impossible decision, you are on the brink of despair when you are recruited by a group of handsome cat men known as The Strays. The game features three main characters: Rei, the wary and stubborn leader of The Strays who is determined to take down the witch and save her victims, Tatsuki, a former human who now acts as a double agent and seems to have a personal interest in helping you, and Tama, your own family's cat who has been transformed into a handsome man. Each character has their own secrets and motivations, and it's up to you to uncover them and strengthen your bond with them.

As you navigate the cat realm and its inhabitants, you must also confront your own feelings and make difficult choices.
